Our organization was created as a way to celebrate the life of Lindsay (Wenzel) Lopez, a 32 yr old wife and Mother, who lost her 14-month battle against Leukemia on Nov 22, 2010. In her memory we decided to look for a way to raise funds to support local patient services and research for anyone who is fighting blood cancers. We are fortunate to have exceptional medical facilities here in the SE Wisconsin area who continue to work tirelessly every day to advance the treatments, and extend and improve the quality of life for infants, children, teens, adults that are stricken with Leukemia or Lymphomas. This is our way of keeping Lindsay’s fighting spirit alive and help others. We continue to be “Lindsay’s Voice”
We have an aggressive goal of raising $50,000 this year through our Trees of Hope Festival event to benefit the Leukemia-Lymphoma Society of SE Wisconsin, Blood Center of WI and Be The Match (National Marrow Donor Program).Please join with us to help us reach and exceed this goal. Corporate support and involvement is needed and welcomed. Spotlight your company! Organizations and individuals can also make a huge impact as you give back to the community. Make a tax deductible donation- by sponsoring a Themed Christmas Tree, Holiday Wreath, Gift Basket, or donating other Silent Auction items. We are grateful to all that joined us in making our Inaugural Trees of Hope WI Celebration a Success! We are encouraged by all the sponsors that were part of our 2012 Treesof Hope WI Celebration and Auction- Nov 17th, 2012 It was held at the Radisson Hotel Milwaukee West 2013 Trees of Hope WI Festival Scheduled for Sat Nov 23rd, 2013 at Radisson Hotel Milwaukee West JOIN US and SAVE THE DATE!
We would love you to join our Mission to continue to fight for less toxic and more effective treatments, support local patient services and be Relentless for Cures!!
But our work won’t stop with just our Trees of Hope WI Festival Event. We plan to continue fundraising through our Trees of Hope WI Team In Training, We completed the Tinkerbell 1/2 Marathon at Disneyland Jan 20, 2013. Our next Team In Training Run is the Rock ‘N Sole 5K in Milwaukee on June 15th. We’d love to have more people join our Team. Thank you to all that have supported us and we ask for your continued support. The fight against Cancer is a MARATHON… and we need to keep going. Any Donation, big or small makes a difference.
