Nearly everyone has had cancer affect their lives in one way or another. It changes the lives of not only the patient, but their families, friends, co-workers and more. Leukemia, Lymphomas, Myelomas are blood cancers that, thanks to the research the advancements in treatments, have improved the odds of survival by double digits in the last 30 yrs. But there is so much more to do. Not all patients survive, even with cutting edge technology. We are fortunate, here in Wisconsin to have medical facilities that are continuously researching and implementing treatments to help save lives of people every day. But, sometimes we take that for granted.
In order to provide funding for continuing research and patient services for local families that are facing this devastating blood cancer, we have organized this event to honor the memory of our daughter Lindsay who fought valiantly. We know it would be her hope to help others who battle through each day.
