What is Trees of Hope? It is the Signature Fundraiser for Lindsay's Voice, a local non-profit dedicated to supporting blood cancer patients Leukemia-Lymphoma-Myeloma. Research at Children's Hospital, Blood Center of WI for marrow donor registrations and patient services through Kathy's House in Wauwatosa.
Local businesses, groups, individuals donate and decorate "themed Christmas trees, wreaths, gift baskets, raffle & auction items". High bidders can have a fully decorated Christmas tree delivered to their home/office. All presented at the Radisson Mayfair with family-friendly activities. Santa Breakfast (9-11am) Luncheon/Fashion Show (12:30-2:30) Semi-formal Dinner/Gala (5pm-10pm).
Featured speaker at the Dinner/Gala will be 2014 Trees of Hope Ambassador- Kathleen "Cookie" Topp a Lymphoma Survivor and former patient of Children's Hospital of WI.
