Uptown Motors- Drive to Save Lives A Huge Success !

October 1st, 2014 was a very special day for Lindsay's Voice. Uptown Lincoln of Wauwatosa hosted an Event called "Driven to Give".
Guests were invited to test drive the new Lincoln MKC, and for each test drive $50 was donated by Uptown and Lincoln Motors. Money that is directly used to support local blood cancer patients.
We were very honored to have this opportunity and while we await final numbers, estimates are that nearly 175 people came to participate and help raise money for Leukemia, Lymphoma (blood cancer) research and patient services right here in SE Wisconsin.
It was a fun event, with Uptown providing wine tasting from PRP Wines in New Berlin and Eddie Martini's Restaurant in Wauwatosa. Unveiling the New Lincoln MKC was quite fun and having the chance to drive a beautiful new Lincoln wasn't a bad way to help the community.
We presented a check to Jay Blankenship, Development Director for Children's Hospital of Wisconsin in the amount of $5,000. Money raised at Trees of Hope WI. This money will be used for targeted blood cancer research. A special project that could revolutionize the way patients are treated.
